I Found God

I want peace in my life (Psalms 4:8; Isaiah 26:3)
But there's always a sword (Matthew 10:34)
The child in me ( 1 Corinthians 14:20)
Has become a man of war (1 Corinthians 13:11; Hebrews 5:12-14)

It's not flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12; 2 Corinthians 10:3-6)
It's forces unseen
I'm carried to higher places
Than I've ever been

I will not fear (John 14:27; 1 John 4:18; Hebrews 13:6)
What man can do (2 Corinthians 4:11; Isaiah 54:17)
Survival is a painful toil (Acts 9:16; Matthew 5:11)
Give me strength to see it through (Ephesians 4:13-15)

I found God (Jeremiah 29:12-13)
I want you to know (2 Timothy 4:2; Ephesians 3:7:12)
I found God

Where He leads, I will follow (Matthew 4:9; 1 Peter 2:21)
What He pours, I will swallow (Matthew 26:27-29; Deuteronomy 32:2)
When He twists, I will bend (Jeremiah 18:2-4; Romans 9:21)
All my trust in Him (Isaiah 50:10; Proverbs 3:5)

My tears have been my meat (Psalms 126:5; Psalms 42:3)
Deep calls unto the deep (Psalms 42:7)
Fill my wanting mouth (Luke 6:21; Matthew 5:6)
With good things renewed (Psalms 51:10; Isaiah 40:31)

In the Garden of Indecision (Matthew 26:39-42; Isaiah 53:10)
I have no apprehension (Matthew 20:28; 1 John 3:16; John 10:15-18)

I am nothing without You (Phil. 2:13; Prov. 3:5; 1 Cor. 10:12; 2 Cor. 6:10)

Overview (Though we did not really find God--He found us and first loved us--we still often say, "I found God." God is foreign to us and almost make-believe until He reveals His Son to us. He calls us all to repentance and would not want any to perish. It is up to us, the individual, to make a decision whether we will choose God after He has called us out of this world into a New and Living Way.)
