Day by Day

(Psalms 37:25)

I'm sick, I've tried not to show it
I pray to God that no one has noticed (Isaiah 46:4)

But I grow weaker day by day
My face is pale my hair turns gray (Hosea 7:9)
It's hard to find the joy I once knew (1 Samuel 3:2)
What has crawled into my bones?
Made me brittle, made me old (Psalms 71:9)

All of my dreams are about God
When I dream about God (1 Thessalonians 4:14-18)
When I dream its about God (Acts 2:17)

Confusion is my enemy (James 3:16)
Restore my soul of faith from reasoning (Jeremiah 8:18)

Jesus save me from obscurity
From the hour, the moment of grief

But I grow weaker day by day (Isaiah 41:10)
My face is pale my hair turns gray
Hard to imagine the boy I once knew (Hebrews 2:14-15; 2 Timothy 1:10; John 11:25-26)

Overview (When my papaw was old he got weak and sick. His whole life he had been strong and independent. Lying in the hospital, filled with the Holy Spirit, he remained strong. No one ever remembered seeing him cry or shed a tear anytime in his life. In his final days, his body broken from heart attacks, he told my uncle, as he cried, that he had dreamed about God. This was the first time my uncle had ever seen him cry. His tears were of joy. He is now forever with the Lord.)
