A little update

Yes! We now have our own domain name! We are still at Tripod.com and will probably always be here, but now it's easier to get to us! http://www.BrideFan.com
We also have a new message board. Hopefully this one will be more reliable than the other one was.
I also resolved the Album Poll and Song Poll problems so they all work fine now. Get to voting!

The latest on the new album.

The New BrideCD "Fist Full of Bees" is coming. It is important for Absolute Records, Bride, and our producer "Plinky Giglio," to produce and release the very best Bride CD of all times. Bride is actually still working on the project. We realize this has been a long time coming but we know this extended work will make the CD well worth the wait. The actual release date has been moved to January 2001. We ask all of you to agree in prayer with us that we will meet God's timing. The most important thing is that we do not get ahead of the Lord.

INSTEAD OF EBAY, it is DALEBAY! Dale is auctioning some very rare items. This month the item is a Plaque awarded to Dale from Star Song in 1993. The plaque is inscribed "Psychedelic Super Jesus #1 Single August 2, 1993 METAL/CCM Jul 28, 1993 HM/PRR." It measures 9X16 with the CD and CD cover under glass. The bidding starts immediately. Bride is at it this time in the studio with "Snakes in the Playground" producer Plinky Giglio. With great songs Bride is going in without any patented formula. Bride has been reinvented over the past year with two new band
members and a whole new outlook on the future.

The ever-preverbal Dale Thompson is unleashing his most explicit lyrics to date. Bride continues to redefine metal with spirit and grace. With benevolent themes arising from the stories of frustration and deliverance, the message blatantly, stares you down.

This is aggressive Bride at their best with songs titled "Soul Winner", "Never thought about going back" and many others. This project will be released late summer with a fall tour expected.

The new guys

The new album due out sometime in October should have a little more new to it than just songs. This will be the first Bride album in 10 years that doesn't have Jerry McBroom on drums. Michael Loy is taking over where Jerry left off. We can't wait to hear what kind of a spin Mike puts on Bride's sound!
Lawrence Bishop isn't really a new face on Bride's stage. He has performed with them before and even played a little the band's last album Oddities. We think he's going to be a great asset to the band!
